How to make: baked banana, raisin and walnut porridge

As if porridge wasn't delicious enough, imagine baked porridge, complete with warm banana and spices...yes, it exists! This is a bit more of a time-consuming breakfast, but a great way to start a lazy Sunday. It only takes about 20 minutes in the oven and is really easy to assemble so scroll down to find out how to make what might as well be a scrumptious dessert (but in the form of a healthy breakfast)...

Ingredients: 2 bananas A quarter cup of raisins A handful of walnuts 1 cup of oats A quarter cup of milk 1½ tablespoons of honey 1½ tablespoons of cinnamon (Serves 2 hungry people.) First, preheat the oven to 190°C. Empty the oats into a bowl, pour boiling water over them, cover them and let them sit for 10 minutes. In the meantime, slice the bananas and chop the walnuts into little pieces.

Once the oats are ready, add the raisins, walnuts and banana, leaving half of one of them. Mix well. Then add the milk, cinnamon and honey.

Put the mixture into a baking tray, spreading it out evenly. With the banana that you set aside, place the remaining slices onto the top of the mixture. Pop the tray into the oven for 20 minutes.

Once ready, serve and enjoy!
