A Lithuanian Adventure

Lithuania isn't your typical summertime destination but having spent two weeks exploring a considerable amount of the Eastern European country, it's safe to say that Lithuania is definitely one to put on your travel bucket list. The country gained independence from Russia in 1918 and remnants of Soviet occupation are still very much present, however amid the history is a nature lover's paradise; beaches, parks and stunning lakes are the backdrop of a Lithuanian summer vacation and as well as all that, it's still relatively cheap to visit. We stayed predominantly in Klaipėda, where the annual Sea Festival was taking place, but wandered off a little bit too... Klaipėda
